Part-Time Dishwasher
Evening & Weekend Availability Required
We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Food Services team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen while supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional service to residents.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and dishwashing areas are kept clean and organized.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and assist with general kitchen housekeeping duties.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Support the kitchen team with additional duties as assigned to help ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices is considered an asset.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to perform physically active work, including standing for extended periods.
- Experience working in a retirement residence, healthcare setting, or with older adults is an asset, but not required.
