In Ottawa, you will be a member of our Digital Public Sector Transformation team, working with one of the largest and most important client sectors for KPMG. We serve all three levels of government and focus on every major policy sector including defence and security, education, social and human services, transportation and regulation.

KPMG Ottawa is currently looking for Junior and Senior Consultants with interest and experience in Digital Transformation.
What you will do:
Understand client issues, disaggregate business problems, develop hypotheses, conduct primary and secondary research, contribute to digital implementations, and develop valuable recommendations.
Execute day-to-day activities on projects such as assessing information management processes, conducting stakeholder interviews and develop digital transformation implementations
Conduct digital operating environment assessments
Develop recommendations and designing digital transformation strategies
Contribute to the development of technical solutions and capabilities
Communicate complex digital solution concepts to non-technical audiences
Work collaboratively with client teams and help develop client capabilities
Provide technical expertise and translate subject matter specifics into business language
Communicate (written and verbal) findings, recommendations and other deliverables to clients including technical and business communication to management through the preparation of reports, presentations, analyses, and other deliverables
Take an active role in the business community to increase awareness of the firm's services; developing and maturing relationships internally and staff and with clients and target clients; identifying and assisting in pursuit of opportunities; assisting in development of marketing materials, proposals, presentations and research
Contribute to all aspects of building a practice (e.g., business development, team culture, community engagement, etc.).
Seek to create an environment for clients and colleagues that is diverse, inclusive, and innovative
Simultaneously work on multiple client engagements of varying size, scope, and complexity
Lead and contribute to other practice initiatives, including knowledge sharing, training, and other activities
What you bring to this role:
1-3 years of professional experience
Interest in innovation and digitalization, and ready to learn mindset
Interest in working with organizations to shape their technology and digital transformation strategy
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: Cloud implementations, ERP system implementations, Enterprise and Business Architecture, Information and Cyber Security, Data and Analytics
Experience with process and business modeling
Experience in contributing to design workshops with clients to discover the art of the possible
Implementing new businesses processes digitalization
Interest in working with the public sector, either working directly in Government or in a professional services firm supporting Public Sector clients
Proven relationship development and project management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to participate in presentations to all levels of organizations, both in person and remotely/virtually
University or College Degree in a related discipline. This may include an undergraduate or graduate degree in Management/Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science
Industry-recognized designations/certifications would be an asset, including: TOGAF, ITIL, Azure Cloud Solution Architecture, AWS Cloud Solution Architect, ISSP, CISM, CRISC and CISA
