Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components and assemblies with precision and efficiency, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, blueprint reading, and welding methods to produce metal products.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints/shop drawings.
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and machining tools to shape and cut metal parts.
- Perform MIG welding to join metal components securely according to project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise fabrication.
- Rigging and handling heavy materials with cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products or assemblies following schematics and assembly instructions.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal fabrication and blueprint reading.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely.
- Skilled in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and basic math for precise measurements.
Pay: From $42.00 per hour
