Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Demolition Worker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely tearing down structures, and assisting with various demolition tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Prior experience in demolition, construction, or related trades is highly valued.
Duties
- Safely demolish buildings, walls, and other structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine demolition scope and procedures
- Remove debris and hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for team members and site visitors
- Coordinate with project managers to estimate materials and time requirements for demolition tasks
Skills
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to demolition work
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors or project managers
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
