The Prestige Hotels & Resorts Corporate Office is looking for a part-time Group Sales Coordinator to join our team!
We are seeking someone who has good communication skills, is detail-oriented, and highly responsive to support group sales efforts across all Prestige properties in British Columbia.
This is an in-person position based out of our Corporate Office in Kelowna. This part-time position is approx. 20-25 hours per week; we can be flexible in scheduling (four to five half days, or three full days) based on the candidate’s needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Group Sales Coordinator will respond to new business opportunities in various group market segments such as conferences, entertainment, and sports for all of Prestige’s properties across BC.
The Group Sales Coordinator will specifically perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Respond to incoming group sales inquiries regarding rates, availability, group accommodations, and general client requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and other client information requests through platforms such as Hotel Planner, CVENT, and others.
- Process includes gathering rates, availability, and required hotel details from General Managers or other members of the hotel and/or sales team and completing the RFP to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Convention Sales Managers at hotels when preparing proposals for new opportunities that require meeting space.
- Maintain and update sales platforms to ensure hotel information is accurate. Content may include written descriptions, photos and rates.
- Maintain tracking documents to analyze the success of our bids.
- Support account setup and administration, including direct billing requests, verifying credit references, and maintaining client profiles and negotiated rates.
- Maintain databases, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records, property management systems, and group booking platforms to keep sales information organized and accessible.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team through document preparation, research, reporting, and coordination tasks as assigned.
- Assist with group contracts, booking agreements, and other sales-related documentation as needed.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for group clients and internal stakeholders, managing ongoing correspondence, follow-up communications, and status updates with clarity and responsiveness.
- Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports for leadership, tracking won programs, RFP activity, and other key metrics across Prestige properties.
- Support participation in industry events and familiarization tours as needed to build relationships and promote Prestige properties.
- Perform other related administrative duties to support the sales and marketing team as required.
What does an ideal candidate look like?
- This is a junior role with highly administrative tasks. We are open to those with 1-2 years of hotel and/or sales coordination experience.
- Direct experience in hotel sales will be considered a strong asset.
- Hospitality industry experience.
- A diploma in Tourism Hospitality or a similar field is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- High level attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Good communication skills specifically in regard to working with members of various team members such as general managers, clients and colleagues.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and a focus on building customer loyalty.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Computer efficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and online RFPs platforms.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
