As a Senior Platform Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and managing scalable, secure cloud-based infrastructure that supports enterprise data and application platforms. This role contributes directly to advancing modern platform capabilities by enabling reliable, automated, and high-performing environments. You’ll work with cutting-edge cloud and DevOps technologies while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Position Responsibilities:
Manage and deploy production Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Administer and integrate Databricks environments to support data processing and analytics workloads.
Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform for automated deployment and management.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices, Jenkins, and scripting for automation.
Monitor and respond to production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring platform stability.
Collaborate with security, risk, and architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and guardrails.
Manage and contribute to JIRA tasks and participate in agile ceremonies including daily and weekly standups.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
3+ years of experience working with Databricks.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
4+ years of experience with GitOps, Jenkins, and scripting for automation.
2+ years of experience as a Windows Administrator.
2+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
1+ years of network administration or networking experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
Experience with Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity management, and security controls.
Knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery implementation.
Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and operations.
Experience working on data and analytics platforms.
Strong documentation, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills.
