Position Overview:
We are currently seeking positive and energetic cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates have strong culinary passion and possess a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.
Specific Technical skills and position requirements:
- Meat Butchery (Ie, whole strip-loin, tenderloin, salmon)
- Saucier experience
- Grill mastery and knowledgeable in executing different kinds of proteins from grill.
- Experience managing an AM kitchen team.
- An understanding of food costing and labour management
- Brunch - Egg cookery, Hollandaise, etc.
- Ordering/Receiving
- Culinary career focused
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-volume culinary services preferred
- Minimum 3 years of line cooking experience
- Red Seal certification or applicable degree is preferred.
- Food Safe Level 1 or higher
- First Aid certification a plus
