We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tow Drivers and Fleet Manager to join our team. This dual-role position involves operating tow trucks to assist with vehicle recoveries, managing fleet operations, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience in automotive repair or related fields. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Manage daily fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance coordination, and record keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients professionally during stressful situations.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle operability.
- Utilize forklift or other equipment for loading/unloading vehicles or materials when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and operational issues.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during operations.
- Have proven track record in managing tow truck drivers.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and towing equipment.
- Experience in automotive repair or related technical skills preferred.
- Customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills for fleet management responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
