StarTech.com is currently looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our Office Management team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for greeting StarTech.com visitors promptly and courteously in person and over the phone. The receptionist will interact with visitors to determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor’s passes, maintain the visitors log, and accurately direct them to the appropriate department or employee. This person will respond to routine inquiries from internal to external sources and provide support for miscellaneous cross functional administrative activities.

In This Role You Will:
Be the face of StarTech.com while greeting visitors, determining the nature of their visit, creating visitor passes and alerting the receiving party of the visitor’s arrival
Receive and route all incoming calls to the switchboard while providing excellent customer service
Respond to routine inquiries from internal and external sources
Assist with administrative activities such as preparing corporate mail, receiving and distributing corporate mail and courier deliveries, completing customer order pickups, placing orders and delivering and stocking stationary supplies, placing business card orders, catering coordination, and ad hoc projects that arise
Assist with executive expense preparation and purchase requisitions

Your Qualifications:
Past experience in a customer facing or administrative position
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Post-Secondary education or certification in an administrative discipline is an asset
A willingness and eagerness to learn and develop skills in a high-growth environment
