Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gaming Community Manager to join our team and help us build a community among game developers, artists and enthusiasts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating a sense of belonging within our online communities, building brand awareness, and increasing customer loyalty. As a Community Manager, you will work closely with the marketing department to execute strategic social media content schedules, analyze insights and metrics, and engage with our community members. You will be the voice of our brand, ensuring our audience is informed, valued, and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
- Respond to questions, comments, and direct messages promptly.
- Interact with community members to build relationships and improve customer loyalty.
- Provide honest, transparent, thoughtful responses that align with the company's tone and voice.
- Read carefully and listen actively to feedback to ensure continuous brand improvement.
- Help convert interested community members to become users of Versos Scene Builder.
Content Strategy:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement strategic social media content schedules.
- Share, engage, and respond to comments on content created by the marketing team.
- Analyze insights and metrics to refine content strategies and engagement approaches.
- Determine which channels are most effective for reaching our target audience and achieving company goals.
Online Event Planning:
- Create opportunities for increased engagement, such as online brand events, webinars, contests, live streams, and group discussions.
- Plan and monitor online events closely to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales, and marketing teams to organize and execute events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in community management. Knowing how to authentically engage with people online, neutralize negative conversations, and amplify positive ones. You love chatting with like-minded people online. You want to help. You want to learn from them. You are curious and engaging. You are a social extrovert.
- You are familiar with the game development space. You are a gamer yourself, and better yet, a game developer. You are “part of” this passionate community and share in that passion for games, creative development, and the dream of one day building that perfect awesome game.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and community management tools.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to provide thoughtful, value-driven responses.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for fostering a positive and engaging online community.
- Must know basics of Unreal Engine
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
