Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Overnight Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide high-quality in-home care . This role involves supporting a elderly gentlman during the night. The Overnight PSW plays a vital role in ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being during night shifts, offering personalized care and assistance throughout the overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care during overnight shifts, including assistance with daily activities such as dressing, mobility and personal hygiene
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family
- Respond promptly to call for assistance during the night
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practice
- Strong caregiving skills coupled with compassion and patience
- Certification in medication administration or caregiving is a plus but not required
- Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and maintain professionalism during late hours
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required health screenings
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
