We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, families, and business owners to identify their insurance and financial planning needs and provide tailored solutions that help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' insurance, investment, and financial planning needs.
- Develop customized financial strategies, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, risk management, and estate planning.
- Provide recommendations on life insurance, disability insurance, critical illness insurance, segregated funds, mutual funds, and other financial products.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing service and regular reviews.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, and relationship-building activities.
- Educate clients on financial concepts and strategies to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor clients' progress toward financial goals and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with specialists to provide comprehensive solutions for clients with complex insurance and investment needs.
Qualifications Required:
- Mutual Fund License in Alberta (MFDA/MFDA successor organization registration through CIRO or ability to obtain licensing).
- Active Alberta Life Insurance Certificate of Authority (or ability to obtain licensing) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of financial planning principles and insurance solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a client-first mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred
- CFP®, QAFP®, PFP®, or other financial planning designation.
- Previous experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or investment advising.
- Experience working with individual, family, and business-owner clients.
- Established network within the local community.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
