This position is responsible for contributing to the coordinated efforts of presenting a high-quality first impression to all Farm Boy customers as they enter our stores. The Customer Experience Representative must possess excellent customer service skills and be alert to all our customer needs and provide service in a friendly, informative and professional manner. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all customers, employees and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way
Provide a prompt and warm reception to all customers, while providing other measures of outstanding customer service and maintaining courtesy and professionalism.
Maintaining the store capacity at all times and ensure a safe working area for all colleagues and customers entering the store.
Conduct health screening at the front door, as required.
Cleaning/sanitizing carts before and after customer use.
Utilizing Farm Boy Service Standards, welcome, greet and offer customer assistance as required.
Keep the work, storage and store areas clean and safe at all times by performing general “housekeeping” as required, including sweeping, mopping and dusting.
May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Superior customer service, experience in a retail environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
Fluency in English and French shall be considered an asset.
