Project Lead – Construction & Residential Projects
Company: Nodebridge
Location: GTA / Ontario
Role Type: Full-time, Contract, or Contract-to-Full-Time
Experience Required: 10+ years in construction, residential projects, concrete work, renovations, or general contracting
About Nodebridge:
Nodebridge is an AI-powered venture studio and operating platform that builds, validates, and scales companies across multiple industries.
Rather than operating as a single construction company, Nodebridge works across a growing portfolio of ventures, including residential construction, modular housing, concrete services, home improvement, and AI-enabled service businesses.
Our goal is to build practical, high-growth businesses with strong operations, modern systems, and repeatable processes. That means we combine hands-on execution in the field with better quoting systems, project management, customer communication, automation, and technology.
This role will initially support StrongForce and other construction-related projects within the Nodebridge ecosystem, but over time may also support additional residential, concrete, modular, and service-based ventures as the platform grows.
We are looking for someone practical, reliable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where systems are still being built. The right person will not only manage the work, but also help us improve how the work gets done.
About the Role:
Nodebridge is hiring an experienced Project Lead – Construction & Residential Projects to help manage projects across our growing construction portfolio, including StrongForce, Concrete GC, and other residential/construction ventures.
This is a senior, hands-on, client-facing role for someone who understands how construction projects actually get done. We need someone who can quote jobs, meet clients, assess site conditions, coordinate trades, manage timelines, solve problems, and keep projects moving from start to finish.
The role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of construction experience who has worked in residential construction, concrete, renovations, general contracting, or project/site management.
Because Nodebridge is building a broader construction and home-services ecosystem, this is not just a single-project role. The person we hire will help create the operating foundation for how we quote, manage, deliver, and scale construction projects across multiple ventures.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand project needs, review site conditions, and gather project details.
- Prepare estimates, quotes, scopes of work, and project plans.
- Manage residential construction, concrete, renovation, and modular/home-related projects.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, schedules, and quality control.
- Communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, trades, and leadership.
- Review project requirements and identify materials, labour, and subcontractor needs.
- Visit job sites to monitor progress and solve issues as they come up.
- Ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
- Support quoting, planning, and execution across multiple construction-related ventures.
- Help build repeatable systems for project management, quoting, site coordination, and client communication.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of construction experience.
- Strong background in residential construction, concrete work, renovations, general contracting, or site/project management.
- Experience managing projects, trades, timelines, and client expectations.
- Ability to assess job sites and understand project requirements.
- Strong estimating and quoting ability.
- Comfortable meeting clients and representing the company professionally.
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site workers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make practical decisions on-site.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple moving parts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with concrete driveways, pads, foundations, walkways, patios, or exterior concrete work.
- Experience with residential renovations, additions, backyard structures, modular builds, or laneway/garden suites.
- Existing network of trades, subcontractors, or suppliers.
- Experience using project management tools, spreadsheets, CRM systems, or estimating software.
- Ability to help improve internal construction systems and operational workflows.
Who This Role is For:
This role is ideal for someone who has been in construction for years and knows how to get things done.
You may have worked as a site supervisor, construction manager, general contractor, senior lead hand, estimator, or project coordinator and are now looking for a role where you can take ownership, work directly with leadership, and help build something bigger.
We are looking for someone who is experienced enough to lead projects, practical enough to solve problems on-site, and entrepreneurial enough to help create better systems as the company grows.
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on experience, capabilities, availability, and fit. We are open to full-time, contract, or contract-to-full-time arrangements for the right person.
