Who we need:
A Practice Development Specialist, you are SME in Data. You will drive awareness within the organization of different data services and solutions around analytics and provide guidance to help shape the organization's direction and strategy for data-focused solutions.

With your expertise in the Data landscape, you will work closely with our sales team to help nurture, evolve and close business. You will be the technology expert of prospective customers and our existing customer base. You will create solutions and deliverables that follow the practice standards.

As a Practice Development Specialist, You will:
Develop proficiency in the technologies you are exposed to, including but not limited to BI (MicroStrategy, Tableau), Data Integration (Talend, Informatica, SSIS), Data (Teradata, Snowflake, Oracle and others), Big Data (Cloudera, Hortonworks
Continue to learn new materials (technology, processes) based on company roadmap or industry trends.to hone your craft.
Find ways to stay current in your practice. Create and document innovative solutions based on customer or internal issues or technology trends
Research the industry on an on-going basis to know what changes may be on the horizon
Identify opportunities in the marketplace and collaborate with the practice manager to rollout processes, IP and training.
Work with delivery team to align our services/solution offerings for any engagement projects.
Collect information and communicate details of uncovered customer issues.
Develop solutions based on identified issues through phone conversations, email and working sessions with the client.
Work proactively with the sales team to improve the sales process
Collaborate with sales and delivery team to achieve a high level of success includes creating content for proposals, participate in sales conversations and provide detail approaches
Provide content for proposal development, reviews, plans and estimates.
Develop strong relationships with customers and sales as a trusted advisor to facilitate solution improvements.
Give technical presentations about our solutions and how it solves the customer’s specific problems
Attend events and tradeshows to get exposure to different industry/technology Standard
Actively network within the industry for potential candidates to join our company
Create blogs to educate others about interests, technologies, processes or solutions
Work proactively with marketing team to drive marketing content

How do we know it’s You:
You have a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, related topic or experience
You have 5+ years of technical experience in the area of Data
You have specialized training in technology pertaining to Data
You can effectively analyze situations, break down problems and identify key issues.
You have excellent verbal and written communication including the ability to appropriately tailor messages to different levels of management and stakeholders accordingly
You have broad knowledge and experience in different aspects of technology solutions and processes relevant to Project X.
You have the ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with executives.
You have a general knowledge of industry developments, trends and tools and know how to drive innovation to increase sales
You have prepared and delivered technical presentations that explain services to customers and prospective customers from small groups to large trade show audiences.
A consulting state-of-mind. It’s a thing. You’ll know if you have it. So will we. You coach our team on how to effectively work autonomously and away from headquarters for long periods of time. And still, find their way back “home” and into the comfortable, open and sharing mental and physical space of our office on a regular basis.
Some sales experience preferred but not required.
