We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as full-time and part-time positions at both locations both Adelaide and Ossington for the upcoming school season. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and memorable experience for our customers while delivering exceptional service and crafting delicious beverages.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders, recommend beverages, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Prepare and serve beverages: Skillfully operate coffee and espresso machines to prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and specialty drinks. Ensure beverages are prepared and served according to established recipes, quality standards, and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization: Keep the work area, equipment, and utensils clean, sanitized, and well-stocked. Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Cash handling and register operation: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system. Maintain cash drawer and balance sales at the end of each shift.
Team collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, efficient workflow, and timely service. Assist with tasks such as restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and assisting colleagues when needed.
Uphold brand standards: Represent our brand by delivering consistent quality and maintaining a professional appearance. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be available on weekends!
- Prior barista experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of coffee and various beverage preparations is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
