Overview
We are seeking a personable and caring individual to support us with our 12-year-old son who has Down syndrome.
It is crucial that the person hired can connect meaningfully with him and engage him in fun and educational activities. He loves being outside, most sports, swimming, music, reading, and crafts.
The summer schedule will be quite variable with the option for some days and some evenings.
During the school year, the schedule is flexible and negotiated month to month where we try to meet both your and our needs with a typical shift being 3-8.30 pm.
There may be an option to add in weekends.
An ideal candidate might be an education student with an interest in special education or a health sciences student.
