Key Responsibilities:
- Manage restaurant openings, by developing short- and long-term goals and implementing strategies to achieve targets.
- Ensure that all dealings with franchisees, suppliers and manufacturers are according to the franchise manuals and franchise agreement.
- Ensure that high quality food and exceptional guest service is delivered in a clean and pleasant atmosphere in all units.
- Report on food handling and sanitation on all units.
- Ensure proper staffing levels are always upheld.
- Ensure that all franchisees always purchase products from authorized suppliers only.
- Ensure all units always have proper management structure.
- Ensure that all units always comply with all liquor laws and that all employees and franchisees are smart serve certified.
- Supervise the Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill system (specification, marketing and operations manual) and make recommendations for improvements from time to time.
- Restaurant inspections at all franchise units including written notes for the file.
- Produce regular reports concerning the activity and quality standards of the franchisees.
- Responds to, investigates and follows up on verbal and written enquiries and complaints.
- Ensure all manuals are always up to date for all units.
- Assist in monthly and spot check inventory.
- Ensure that minimum merchandise inventory is always maintained.
- Establish, maintain and build guest counts in all franchised or corporate units.
- Oversee and assist the franchisees, their staff and Operations staff during restaurant openings, directing the training and development of staff.
- Monitor hiring, orientation, training and development of all employees.
- Conduct and co-ordinate restaurant takeovers.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are completed on time and all units operate properly.
- Prepare, recommend and monitor district sales budgets for existing and projected restaurants. You will be responsible for achieving these targets and performance against these projections will be reviewed monthly.
- Review the financial status and report on all units including financial statements and ensure that all units are profitable and if not, develop action plans to improve the situation and trend.
- Ensure that all franchisees develop action plans on problem units with proper marketing to increase sales and profits.
- Assist with menu development, as requested.
- Follow up on all issues and necessary.
- Ensure all special projects and assignments are completed within the budgeted time and cost.

What you Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management in hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of expanding and supporting new business and regional markets
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Experience building feedback and communication tools for monitoring and measuring business group success metrics, stakeholder satisfaction and other KPIs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in Franchise Operations an asset
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry
