Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and energetic Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests and supporting the front-of-house operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and warmly welcoming guests as they arrive
- Seating guests efficiently and managing the reservation/waitlist system
- Bussing and resetting tables to maintain a clean and orderly dining area
- Rolling cutlery and polishing glassware to service standards
- Performing regular washroom checks to ensure cleanliness
- Assisting the team by running food or “hands” when needed
- Supporting overall restaurant operations and helping teammates during busy periods
Requirements:
- Flexible availability
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry or a similar hospitality environment
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to take on new challenges and assist others as needed
