Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth check-in and check-out processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and reservation management
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs efficiently
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and customer service throughout all interactions
- Position includes weekend shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel management software or reservation systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
