About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Associate to help keep our branch running smoothly day to day.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, takes pride in accuracy, and likes seeing the direct impact of their work. You will be responsible for preparing shipments, managing inventory flow, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and showroom, and supporting the branch with a variety of operational tasks.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and wants to gain practical experience across warehouse and branch operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, dependable, and comfortable balancing physical tasks with coordination and follow-through.
What You'll Do
Warehouse & Inventory
- Pick, pack, and prepare shipment orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive transfers from Head Office and restock inventory
- Process returned products, including restocking or preparing RMAs
- Ensure RMA items are properly documented and stocked
- Receive containers as required
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse
- Maintain and order warehouse supplies as needed
- Remove garbage and recycling
- Keep the warehouse and showroom clean, safe, and well organized
Shipping & Deliveries
- Coordinate and oversee shipment pickups with couriers
- Confirm shipments after courier pickup
- Work with couriers to investigate and resolve missing or delayed shipments
- Assist the off-site sales team with product preparation and transfers
- Assist office staff with showroom pickups
- After successfully completing the probationary period and demonstrating readiness, make local deliveries to customers
- Safely load, transport, and unload products during deliveries
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during customer deliveries
Vehicle & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate mileage logs
- Schedule vehicle maintenance as required
- Complete monthly vehicle inspections
- Assist the Branch Manager with operational projects as required
- Support order processing and other branch duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading products
- Takes initiative and looks for ways to keep things running smoothly
- Comfortable working independently while also being a team player
- Professional and friendly when interacting with customers, couriers, and coworkers
- Good communication and follow-through
- Previous warehouse, shipping, delivery, or inventory experience is an asset
- A valid driver's licence and a safe driving record are required for the delivery portion of the role
