The Compassion Centre: Pelvic, Perinatal & Pain Centre is seeking an experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our established practice in Surrey, BC.
We are looking for a confident, compassionate clinician who is passionate about pelvic health and can independently assess and manage a specialized pelvic health caseload. This is an opportunity to join a supportive interdisciplinary team, work with an established patient base, and contribute to the continued growth of our pelvic, perinatal, and pain services.
Our clinic has a busy caseload consisting primarily of private patients, with some ICBC and WorkSafeBC patients. We provide comprehensive administrative support so that our clinicians can focus on delivering excellent patient care.

About the Role
The successful candidate will provide individualized, evidence-informed physiotherapy care to patients with pelvic health concerns. You will be responsible for independently managing your caseload, developing appropriate treatment plans, maintaining professional documentation, and collaborating with other healthcare providers when indicated.
Clinical areas may include:
- Pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain.
- Urinary and bowel concerns.
- Pelvic organ prolapse.
- Pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation.
- Perinatal musculoskeletal conditions.
- Sexual pain and other pelvic health concerns within the clinician’s training and scope of practice.
- Pessary assessment and fitting, where appropriately trained and competent.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, or eligible for registration.
- Professional liability insurance appropriate to the scope of practice.
- Relevant postgraduate education in pelvic health physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience independently assessing and treating pelvic health conditions.
- Competence in internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment, where appropriately trained and within scope of practice.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed, and patient-centred care.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of independent pelvic health physiotherapy experience.
- Experience in a private practice setting.
- Experience with pregnancy and postpartum care, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and bowel dysfunction, and pelvic pain.
- Pessary assessment and fitting experience is an asset.
- Additional relevant pelvic health training or advanced clinical skills are welcome.
This position is intended for an experienced pelvic health physiotherapist. New graduates or physiotherapists requiring foundational pelvic health training are not the focus of this recruitment.
