Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Provide product demos and answer customer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience.
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with customers using excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to perform basic technology functions on POS systems and other retail equipment.
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technical sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A friendly attitude, excellent time management, and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential.
