Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time
The physiotherapist will provide outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy services to a variety of clientele from elite athletes to weekend warriors. We also treat patients with chronic pain and motor vehicle accidents.
Responsibilities:
- Assess orthopaedic injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer appropriate treatment as indicated
- Maintain proper patient records as per the CPO guidelines
- Interact and collaborate with other medical professionals
- Complete Movement Screens as per the FMS and MPC protocol
- Contribute to MPC blog and continuing education library
Requirements:
- Registered Physiotherapist and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Degree in Physiotherapy (MScPT preferred)
- Standard First Aid and CPR with training in AED
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
- FMS certified an asset
- Functional dry needling is an asset
