LUMBER GRADER

Stein Lumber is seeking an experienced Lumber Grader to join our growing team in Salmon Arm, BC.
Responsibilities
- Grade lumber in accordance with industry standards and mill specifications.
- Identify lumber defects and accurately assess grade quality.
- Maintain production quality and consistency.
- Work closely with production and quality control teams.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience grading lumber is required.
- Valid lumber grading ticket/certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lumber species, defects, and grading rules.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
