Job Summary:
Miracle Toronto is a high-energy holiday pop-up bar that celebrates the festive season with signature holiday cocktails, exciting events, and a vibrant atmosphere. As a member of the Bartender, Server, or Batch Team, you will be an integral part of delivering an unforgettable experience to our guests. Whether you're behind the bar crafting holiday cocktails, serving guests with a cheerful attitude, or managing high-volume batch production, you will play a key role in creating the magic of Miracle. Must be available to work the entire Christmas Season including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. No Exceptions, though we will do our best to accomodate as many holiday needs for our team as possible.
Key Responsibilities:Bartender:
- Craft Cocktails: Prepare and serve Miracle’s signature cocktails with precision, consistency, and speed, ensuring each drink matches the high standards of presentation and quality.
- Guest Interaction: Engage guests with warmth, answer questions about the menu, and make personalized recommendations.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the bar is organized, stocked, and clean at all times, with full inventory control during each shift.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash, and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Uphold Miracle’s Brand: Enthusiastically participate in the holiday theme, including festive attire, while maintaining professionalism.
Server:
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide friendly and efficient table service, ensuring guests have a seamless experience from seating to payment.
- Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the Miracle cocktail and snack menus, making informed recommendations to guests.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Handle multiple tables in a high-energy, fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent guest interaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with bartenders, hosts, and the batch team to ensure smooth service flow, including timely food and drink delivery.
- Cleanliness and Setup: Ensure your station is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. Assist with setup and breakdown of events as needed.
Batch Team Member:
- Batch Production: Prepare large volumes of pre-batched holiday cocktails following recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and speed.
- Inventory Management: Track batch inventory levels, ensuring there is always enough stock to meet the demands of each shift.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safety measures are followed for all batch ingredients.
- Support Bartenders: Assist bartenders by ensuring batch supplies are always readily available and work as a liaison to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize batch production areas, tools, and equipment regularly.
Qualifications:
- General Experience: 2-5 years hospitality experience in a high paced volume and sales driven environment.
- Bartender: Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, preferably in cocktail-driven programs. Service well experience for high volume fast paced restaurants preferred.
- Server: Minimum of 2 year of server experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
- Batch Team: 1-2 Years Experience in large-scale production, bar prep, or kitchen prep is a plus. Attention to detail is essential.

- For bartenders and batch team: solid knowledge of cocktail-making, ingredients, and bar equipment.

Additional Information:
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage with gratuities.
- Uniform: Festive holiday attire as per Miracle’s guidelines (details provided in the Miracle Handbook).
- Mandatory Decor Shifts November 3-10th, 2024 AM OR PM shifts. (8am-4pm or 3:30pm-11pm)
- Training: Mandatory training and orientation sessions will take place from November 10-12, 2024.
- Work Hours: Availability required between 4 PM-2 AM Monday-Friday, and 11 AM-2 AM on weekends. Special events may require additional hours, including late-night shifts during Reverse Happy Hour. Must be available to work all Christmas Holidays.
