Concrete Labourer – Temporary to Permanent
About Our Client
Our client is looking for someone who doesn’t necessarily have all the experience but is willing to learn and do the hard work to grow! They are a concrete forming company, looking for someone full time, ongoing. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Concrete Labourer:
· Mixing and pouring concrete
· Using a saw to cut the rebar cases
· Using hand tools (saws and drills and rebar tooling guns)
· Packing the finished products onto the skids
· Keeping your area clean and safe at all times
· Other warehouse duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Receptionist:
· Must be able to work full time, Monday to Friday
· Must be able to lift 20-50lbs consistently throughout the day
· Must not be afraid to “get dirty” and work with your hands
· Experience of 1 year is preferred
· Must be able to work in a very warm environment (while wearing pants and long sleeve shirts)
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check
· Likely you will need to drive, as this position is not bus accessible
· Must have CSA safety shoes/boots and work gloves
· Strong communication skills in English is a must
In Return, You Will Receive:
· $20.00 per hour
· 4 % vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
· Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
· Monday to Friday
· 7:30am to 4:00pm
