Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents through meaningful conversation and engagement.
- Assist residents with non-personal activities of daily living, including meal setup, hydration reminders, and light assistance during mealtimes.
- Escort residents safely throughout the residence to meals, activities, appointments, and common areas.
- Encourage resident participation in recreational, social, and wellness activities to promote independence and quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment by making beds, tidying rooms, organizing personal belongings, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces as required.
- Observe residents for any changes in behaviour, mood, mobility, or general well-being and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
- Assist with resident admissions, room preparation, and orientation to the residence.
- Support dining services by delivering meals, collecting trays, and assisting with dining room setup and cleanup.
- Assist with laundry services, including collecting, distributing, and organizing residents' clothing and linens.
- Respond promptly to resident requests and call bells within the scope of the PSA role, notifying appropriate staff when clinical assistance is required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete assigned checklists in accordance with facility policies.
- Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comply with all health and safety policies, emergency procedures, and resident privacy requirements.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, PSWs, recreation staff, housekeeping, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care.
