Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Aesthetic Nurse to join our team in DOWNTOWN TORONTO. The ideal candidate will provide advanced nursing care with a focus on aesthetic treatments, patient safety, and comfort. This role involves performing non-invasive cosmetic procedures, patient consultations, administration, and post-treatment care while ensuring adherence to medical standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Administer aesthetic treatments such as PRP, Microneedling, facials.
- Conduct patient consultations to assess needs, explain procedures, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient responses during procedures and manage any adverse reactions promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient histories, and follow-up care using electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions and address any questions or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection control standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized treatment area and sterilization of equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care across various departments including hospital or senior care settings if applicable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about aesthetic procedures and post-care instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience with phlebotomy or laboratory procedures is a plus but not required.
- Prior medical office experience, certificate with PRP, microneedling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
