Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and professional Rental Agent to join our team and assist with apartment rentals across Montreal. This is a commission-based, full-time role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting new people, and driving around the city to show available rental units.
The ideal candidate must have at least one (1) year of relevant experience in real estate, rentals, leasing, sales, or a similar client-facing role, and must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emails and inquiries on a daily basis.
- Schedule and coordinate visits with potential tenants.
- Drive throughout Montreal to show available apartments.
- Provide clear information about available units, lease terms, pricing, and move-in dates.
- Answer questions from prospective tenants in a professional manner.
- Keep track of scheduled visits, completed visits, and interested applicants.
- Follow up with potential tenants after showings.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in rentals, real estate, sales, leasing, or a related field.
- Must be available full-time, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and punctual.
- Able to manage appointments efficiently and work independently.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Montreal rental market is an asset.
Compensation
This is a commission-based position only. Compensation is earned per successful rental.
