NewAge is seeking a Sales Director - Trade, to expand our North American trade business.. Reporting directly to the President, this role involves strategic account planning, business development, sales operations management, and customer strategies. The Director will oversee Direct Sales and will research, recommend, and prepare go-to-market approaches for our Professional Services Customer Group, which includes builders, contractors, designers, and skilled trades. The successful candidate will drive incremental sales and growth across new geographies and various customer channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as an ambassador for NewAge's mission, vision, and values.

Responsible for leading the success of the Direct Sales including all related roles, KPIs, SLAs, systems, tools, and processes essential to the scope of these teams

Develop & execute strategic roadmap to ensure every customer is receiving the best possible experience when interacting with NewAge sales representatives in all channels

Build strong relationships with customers, potential trade clients and suppliers

Conduct thorough research and analysis of all business units to understand existing products, customers, competitors, and market trends.

Identify and build lasting business relationships with customers, potential trade partners and clients.

Analyze business strategies and develop improvement plans to drive business growth.

Assist businesses in identifying opportunities and developing strategic plans.

Manage Professional Services customer communication and maintain effective relationships.

Develop, lead and execute Professional Services sales, processes, competencies, and customer strategies aligned with the company's business strategy.

Rapidly respond to market changes by adjusting strategies and priorities in a fast-transforming environment.

Plan, direct, coordinate, and lead the sales of the company's products and services to the Professional Services Customer Group.

Oversee and evaluate distribution, and representative partnerships, including contract management.

Identify new client relationships and leverage existing ones to drive incremental business.

Develop incremental growth opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional departments and Category Managers to execute.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and advancements and attend industry events as required.
REQUIREMENTS:

Post-Secondary education preferably in a related field of study such as Marketing, Business, or Sales; MBA is an asset.

10+ years of experience in online category management/online merchandising management within ecommerce or home improvement industries.

10+ years of experience in sales management, with preferred new product launch experience.

Minimum 5 years experience in sales management dealing primarily with Trades customers or clients.

Proven ability to negotiate major contracts and influence all levels of customer organizations, including executive, and C-level.

Proactive, results-oriented, with strong organizational and influencing skills.
-
Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with excellent customer service skills.

Ability to self-motivate, plan, and execute work without supervision.

Strong analytical, planning, communications, and presentation skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Track record of successfully generating income through the development of new business relationships.

Demonstrable ability to deliver to targets and deadlines.

Passionate about business development and operations with a creative approach.

Strong administrative and organizational skills, with remarkable attention to detail.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find solutions to issues.
