Speedy Auto Service is a busy, reputable automotive repair shop committed to delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, experienced Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends
- Closed on all statutory holidays
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Complete brake, steering, suspension, engine, cooling system, and drivetrain repairs.
- Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Work closely with the service advisors and the rest of the team to deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Alberta Journeyman Automotive Service Technician Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working on a wide variety of makes and models.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
