Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, hygienic, and well-maintained environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning and sanitation of surfaces and fixtures
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixtures as needed
- Monitor supply levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or floor scrubbers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability
- Prior experience in maintenance or general facility upkeep is advantageous

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
