Job Summary
AMCOR is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Material Handler ( Night Shift, 11 pm to 7 am ) to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of production and packaging tasks while ensuring product quality, workplace safety, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform production tasks in a manufacturing environment, including: Product packaging according to specifications, Product weighing, Product assembly and operating auxiliary equipment
- Follow instructions from shift supervisors, runners, and quality personnel
- Conduct basic visual inspections for product quality
- Identify and communicate product defects
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Operate in multiple workstations as assigned
- Perform scrap grinding as required (training and PPE provided)
- Properly label and identify finished products (cartons, pallets, etc.)
- Maintain control of tools and return them at end of shift.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety procedures
- Support facility security protocols
- Operate material handling equipment when required
- Maintain respectful communication with team members
- Participate in ongoing training programs
- Follow all product safety requirements, including: Waste management, sanitation and hygiene practices, allergen control (peanut-free facility), chemical handling and storage
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous manufacturing experience (3–6 months preferred)
- Familiarity with production environments is an asset
- Understanding of basic quality standards is an asset

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs frequently and 25 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to perform tasks below the knees and above the shoulders occasionally
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
