Duties
- Assist with repairs on construction sites
- Use hand tools and power tools (must have own tools)
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Help with material handling, loading/unloading supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
Requirements
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with construction sites preferred but not mandatory; training provided for motivated learners
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics is an advantage
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform manual labor throughout shifts
- Willingness to work safely off ladders
- Willingness to learn diverse skills
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to safety standards
- Valid G2 Drivers License with clean driver's abstract
- Working from heights and WHIMIS training will be provided
