Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash responsibly
- Engage in inside sales activities, including account management and customer follow-up
- Utilize marketing techniques to promote new products or promotions effectively
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and ensure a seamless shopping experience
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product placement
- Support renovation or construction projects by providing insights on product placement and customer flow (if applicable)
- Provide multilingual support to serve a diverse customer base
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, high-end sales, or related fields such as renovation or construction sales
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, basic math, and account management software
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to upsell effectively
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that highlight features and benefits
- Experience with inside sales strategies including marketing and product promotion
- Familiarity with outside sales techniques and customer engagement strategies
