Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Axe Throwing Host to join our entertainment team. This dynamic role involves creating a fun and safe environment for guests while providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will be engaging, responsible, and passionate about delivering memorable experiences in a lively setting. As an Axe Throwing Host, you will be the face of our venue, ensuring safety protocols are followed and guests enjoy their visit from start to finish.
Duties
- Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional introduction to the axe throwing experience
- Explain safety rules and proper techniques to ensure a safe environment for all participants
- Assist guests with axe throwing instructions, demonstrating proper form and technique as needed
- Monitor activity during sessions to maintain safety standards and address any concerns promptly
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including cash handling when applicable
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and enhancing their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue, including equipment setup and breakdown
- Handle food service or beverage orders if applicable, ensuring guest satisfaction in hospitality aspects
- Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews
Requirements
- Experience working in guest services is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Strong public speaking skills to confidently communicate safety instructions and engage with diverse groups of guests
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for all visitors
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Serving it right is required
- Responsible, attentive, and committed to maintaining a safe environment at all times
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
- Must be at least 19 years old or older to ensure compliance with safety regulations related to axe throwing activities and the BC Liquor Board

Pay: $18.50-$30.00 per hour
