Job Summary:
Inbound Warehousing:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of all incoming materials, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring that our production teams have the materials they need to operate smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Incoming Goods Operations: Oversee the unloading, inspection, and storage of incoming goods, ensuring that all materials are received in accordance with company standards and purchase order specifications.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of incoming goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely updates to inventory systems. Conduct regular cycle counts
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control processes for all incoming goods, including the inspection of materials for damage, defects, and compliance with specifications.
Outgoing Sales Documentation:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, managing, and processing all necessary documentation required for the sales and loading of goods. The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify all sales documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and any other required documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, and trucking companies to ensure timely and accurate shipping of goods.
- Communicate with internal teams (e.g., sales, production, logistics) to gather necessary information and resolve any documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and documentation.
- Assist in resolving any government related issues that may arise during the export process.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, International Business or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in documentation software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Forklift Operation skills will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
