Overview
As SharePoint Administrator, you will work with business clients to create and maintain SharePoint collaboration sites and support applications associated to the corporate knowledge platforms. You will collaborate with developers to implement solutions.

Responsibilities
Create and implement SharePoint sites based on client needs.
Collaborate with networking, storage, virtualization and other infrastructure teams to setup and maintain business critical SharePoint farms.
Act as the main point of contact for problem management for SharePoint.
Develop and maintain code required to support the corporate portal environment, intranet, internet and extranet sites e.g. ASP.NET and SharePoint 2007-2013.
Develop and modify custom applications for websites.
Create test data and verify accuracy and completeness of created software components.
Education & Experience
Diploma or degree in computer science or related IT discipline.
Certified Information Systems Professional (ISP) from the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) or SharePoint 2010/2013 certification(s), including MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint Configuration or MCITP: SharePoint Administrator, would be an asset.
Three years of SharePoint Administration experience including experience with SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013.
Special Skills & Requirements
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues in a production environment.
Knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS), Application Pools, IIS Administration, ports, SSL certificates and Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, firewalls, encryption, security zones and active directory).
Ability to understand and write Object Oriented Programming, and web programming; including ASP.NETand C# .NET.
Knowledge of Client scripting e.g. AJAX & JavaScript, Jquery, and Angular.
Knowledge of XML and XSLT.
Knowledge of SQL Server Database Programming, Stored Procedures.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of SharePoint Designer.
This position requires internet access for on-call work performed off-site.
This position participates in rotating on-call support.
This position is (occasionally) required to work non-business hours to perform support duties.
