As the Senior Manager, Procurement, as part of the Enterprise Procurement team, you will support stakeholders in meeting their business goals and objectives. In partnership with business stakeholders, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, management, and performance of sourcing strategies, cost savings, cost management plans as well as complex contract negotiations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for products and services that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Develop Category Plans and sourcing strategies containing a portfolio of key initiatives which deliver various strategies. Contribute to the development of the annual pipeline of multiple category sourcing initiatives, integrating with the financial planning process.
- Lead negotiations for new strategic deals by achieving best value within acceptable risk to align Cooperators businesses focus key category leadership like marketing, brand, HR to identify and realize cost containment / savings Opportunities. Draft, redline and negotiate supplier contracts within contracting standards and business objectives.
- Conduct external research to compare key business performance metrics against industry benchmarks and initiate continuous improvement actions as deemed necessary.
- Assist with the Cost Management Program with Finance; including help monitoring results, reporting deviations, resolving problems, managing risks, and escalating issues as required.
- Coach and develop Procurement Category managers, recruit, and select talent, manage, and reward performance, and foster an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.

- You have 6-10 years of experience in the Procurement.
- You have 5 years experience in a leadership role.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Having an MBA is considered an asset.
- You have experience in strategic sourcing especially Category management and supporting Cost management programs.
- You have proven track record of cost management and cost savings strategy creation and negotiating complex agreements.
- You will travel occasionally.
