Gaijin develops AAA-class online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, including the popular MMOs War Thunder, Enlisted, and others. The Gaijin team is made up of hundreds of talented game developers from across Europe, and it keeps growing.
We're looking for a Community Manager to join our team.
- Talk to players — respond to comments and questions on social media and other platforms;
- Create content end to end — from idea to publication: posts, news, memes, short videos, graphics;
- Collect bug reports — spot problems and pass them to the dev team in a clear, reproducible form;
- Respond to store reviews — professionally and with a real sense of context;
- Collaborate closely with your team — coordinating helpers and volunteers, and working alongside other community managers and developers.
- You're a real gamer. Not “used to play.” Games aren't a line on your résumé; they're what you do in your free time. You know the genre from the inside: you get the slang, the meta, what makes players rage and what hooks them. Experience with shooters and extraction games is especially valuable;
- Experience with gaming communities and a feel for the audience. You understand how the audience around a game works: how a Reddit user differs from a Discord user, and what lands on Twitter/X. You know the specifics of each platform and don't push the same content everywhere. You can handle negativity and defuse conflicts — not with canned replies, but by actually reading the situation;
- You don't just assign tasks — you make content with your own hands. You're a doer and a lead at once. On one hand, you can write the copy, cut a short video, put together a graphic post, and ship it with no help. On the other, you understand the process well enough to brief a designer or SMM specialist — what's needed, why, and in what format. You produce the basic content yourself instead of waiting for a designer to free up, and bring in a designer or SMM specialist for the harder stuff;
How to confirm: 2–4 examples of content you created yourself.
- English and Russian. You write in a lively way, with no corporate stiffness; you hit the right tone for the audience and for current trends. You communicate clearly and understand the audience and its local memes;
- The ability to document bugs. You turn a player's complaint into a clear report a developer can act on right away;
- Self-reliance. You figure new things out on your own. Long onboarding and step-by-step instructions aren't your style. You don't wait to be handed tasks — you propose them and carry them out yourself;
- Video editing and basic graphics. Premiere / DaVinci / CapCut + Photoshop at an “I can do it myself” level.
- Experience with hardcore / extraction shooters;
- Experience coordinating volunteer and helper teams;
- Your own channel, stream, or community.
- You don't play games and expect to “figure it out as you go”;
- You're used to only handing tasks to a designer and an SMM specialist, and don't produce content yourself;
- You need detailed onboarding and step-by-step instructions.
- Work at a company that ships large-scale projects for millions of players worldwide;
- Fully remote work with a flexible schedule;
- Private health insurance after the probation period;
- English lessons;
- Company-provided work equipment;
- A flexible start to the working day;
- No bureaucracy and no micromanagement.
