Job Description
We are looking for laborer team members at our Red Deer County (Blindman) location!
The successful candidate will be working in the yard and using plastic shredding equipment, assisting with vac truck operations, cutting up end of life totes, and learning/using our on site shredding equipment for end of life plastics. They will also assist in pallet jacking, repairing cages, loading and unloading freight.

Monday-Friday from 6 am - 2:30 pm
Monday-Friday from 2:30 pm - 11 pm

The job duties will vary, sometimes even day-to-day. They include mixing sawdust with poly waste, cutting and breaking down industrial bulk containers, loading and unloading materials; using different tools and machines, such as driving forklifts; and manning power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment, and shredding plastic.

Responsibilities
- Recycling Plastics and Metals
- Assisting in vac truck operations
- Cleaning IBC's
- Pressure Testing IBC's
- Ensuring quality of containers
- Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training
- Effectively using light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
- Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor
Qualifications & Experience
- Reliable transportation (we are located outside of the city in Red Deer County, the successful candidate will have their own transportation)
- Strong work ethic
- Hand tool experience
- Safety mindset
Salary: $17.00 – CA$19.00 per hour
