The ideal candidate has:
· Prior work experience as a Parts Clerk with a background in the automotive industry (training will be provided where necessary);
· An ability to work independently in a busy environment;
· A strong working knowledge of automotive parts;
· Proficiency in the use of computers;
· A team player mindset who works in a courteous and professional manner;
· A desire to help customers with finding parts and recommending solutions.
Duties:
· Build customer relationships and loyalty by correctly identifying parts needed, taking orders, creating invoices, billing out products;
· Demonstrate the highest level of courtesy and respect in all dealings;
· Ensure the correct part(s) are supplied for the specific application;
· Issue credit for parts returned;
· Organize, sort and stock warehouse shelves
· Sources parts for customers by phoning suppliers and notify customer once parts are received;
· Ability to perform repetitive task such as bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching and lifting of 23 kgs / 50lbs+;
· Good written and oral communication
· Ability to follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures;
· Complete other duties as required
