Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated <PERSON> operative to join our warehouse team. This role involves supporting various warehouse functions, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, possess strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working with warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, Excavators, skid steer, pressure washer and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes accurately
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Support shipping & receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper packaging of products for shipment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment tasks
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in warehouse distribution and e-commerce fulfillment skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management is an asset
- Ability to operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a Heavy Duty environment
- Prior experience with warehouse experience or related roles is advantageous. This position will include pressure washing and pallet building and general shop maintenance.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
