Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles and equipment on-site to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs including engine work, brake replacements, suspension adjustments, and electrical troubleshooting with power tools and hand tools
- Utilize welding skills for structural repairs or fabrication as needed to ensure vehicle safety and durability
- Use schematics and assembly instructions to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs efficiently
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and belt adjustments to prevent breakdowns
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs or replacements, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all repairs performed for accountability and future reference
- Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership environment or similar setting
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques for structural or component repairs
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions for troubleshooting complex mechanical systems
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment essential for mobile repair tasks
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various outdoor environments under different weather conditions
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety standards related to mobile repair operations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally

Pay: $23.31-$47.91 per hour
