Delivery Driver – CLASS G
Term of Employment: 3-month trial contract with potential move to full-time
Salary: 40-44 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: September 2026
Location: Mississauga, ON
COMPANY INFO: Industrial Distributor seeks a motivated, experienced and qualified driver for local pick-up and delivery runs within the western GTA area. The individual must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, be dedicated to exemplary customer service and follow company procedures as requested.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid G class driver’s license issued by the province of Ontario.
- Pick-up and deliver various industrial items, load and unload goods
- Accurately process delivery and pick-up documentation
- Efficiently plan travel schedules and routes, use maps and other trip planning aids
- Effectively communicate with dispatch to execute pick-ups and deliveries
- Perform daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle
- Possess essential skills such as reading and interpreting text, numeracy, superior oral and written communication, decision making, job task planning and organizing
- Ability to lift weight up to 60 lbs.
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must speak, read & write English fluently
- Extensive navigation experience within the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant, MULTI-STOP delivery experience in a similar customer-based environment
- Completion of high school diploma

- Able to pass Criminal record check and have a clean driving record (abstract req'd.)
