Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Massage Therapist to join our mobile team in Calgary, AB and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will provide professional mobile massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and a high quality care. Candidates must have a minimum 2 years of experience/training and committed to delivering exceptional customer care.
Responsibilities
- Must have a reliable vehicle, portable table with white sheets and the ability to arrive at locations before scheduled times.
- Perform professional massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Maintain a positive attitude and passion towards helping and serving clients.
- Keep clear communication with clients within treatments to provide an exceptional experience.
- Conduct client interviews to assess their health concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future sessions or wellness practices as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a trusting and calming environment for clients.
- Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and education.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications related to massage therapy.
