UPI Staffing is hiring Direct Support Professionals and Personal Support Workers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in group home settings.

Responsibilities
Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Support residents with life skills, routines, and community activities
- Assist with appointments and outings when needed
- Support behaviour management plans
- Administer medications as required
- Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping duties
- Document daily care and support provided
- Work as part of a team to provide safe, respectful, and reliable care
Qualifications
- Must have one of the following: DSW, SSW, CSW, or PSW Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Safe Management / CPI certification, or willingness to obtain
- Valid G-class driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Updated police check with vulnerable sector search
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Experience with behavioural support is considered an asset
