THE OPPORTUNITY
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and workorders in a courteous manner
- Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue
- Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution
- Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
- Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately internal or external resource

THE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree in computer science or a related field, 1 year work experience in related field required
- Proficient computer skills - MS Office
- Must have a drivers license
- Basic understanding of and experience in:
- MS Windows 2022 serviers or newer and Unix
- Ability to communicate with users and other stakeholders at levels appropriate to their sjill level; provide clear and concise instructions to individuals and groups alike
- Server Virtualization - VMware
- Basic network (DNS, DHCP)
- Windows Office applications
- Window file management and security
- MDM Systems for Mobile devices
