Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, multi-skilled Tradesperson with proven experience in both interior carpentry and plumbing.
In this role, you won't be stuck doing the exact same repetitive task every day. Because our business spans complete residential renovations, plumbing services, and specialized well water systems, you will actively apply your existing carpentry and plumbing skills on high-quality projects.
More importantly, this position offers a unique pathway to expand your expertise. You will sharpen your finish carpentry and advanced mechanical plumbing techniques while gaining hands-on, specialized experience in our Well Division—learning well pump installations, line setups, pressure systems, and specialized water treatment solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interior Carpentry & Renovations: Execute high-quality framing, drywall, painting, tile shower builds (including waterproofing systems), trim, and flooring for full kitchen and bathroom transformations.
- Plumbing Systems & Service: Learn and assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply lines, drainage, fixtures, valves, and mechanical components across residential and light commercial projects.
- Well Division & Water Treatment: Work alongside our specialized technicians on well pump installations, pressure tank setups, submersible/jet pump servicing, and advanced water filtration systems.
- Site Management & Client Service: Keep job sites clean, organized, and running on schedule while representing the Huckson brand professionally to our local clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Dual-Trade Experience: Background working directly in both interior carpentry (framing, tile, drywall, finish work) and plumbing assembly/repairs.
- Eagerness to Expand & Learn: Driven to master new skills—specifically eager to learn the ins and outs of well water systems, pump mechanics, and water conditioning.
- Problem-Solving & Versatility: Highly energetic, physically fit, reliable, and capable of adapting quickly between fine finish carpentry and mechanical piping/pump work.
- Tools & Measurements: Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, precise layout measurements, and interpreting basic job schematics.
- Driver’s License / Criminal Background : Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Criminal Background search required
- Physical Capability: Ability to perform heavy lifting, work outdoors on well systems, and operate in tight spaces as needed.
